Decades ago, Prince Albert visited Jaipur that the Maharajah ordered the whole city to be painted in pink. I think it is an interesting city, our guide, Sanjeev told us that Jaipur is one of the fastest growing populated city in India. Sanjeev is a 6 ft tall, black mustache and wears black sunglasses. He speaks slowly so I managed to catch a lot of things he was saying. I also think that he is a gentleman, a very considerate person.

In Jaipur, we started early in the morning to witness the milk market and vegetable market. It was a fun morning as we also got to try Indian snacks and another cup of masala tea. The milk market is fascinating, the buyers tasted the milk by dipping their hands in the container and putting it in their mouth. In one container, there must be 4 - 5 persons dipping their hands, that surely the milk has been contaminated already. It’s funny. Anyway, they buyers who would sell it door to door and people who brought milk from them will boil it before consuming.

The vegetable market is chaotic wherever you look, but it so colorful that I can say that it s a photographer’s paradise to see local life thriving. It’s the real India. Women in the market has a role too, they carry a sack of a certain vegetable and they will bump you because they are not looking at where they are walking.

Both markets are interesting to see, you will need to wake up very early to see it.
